While other people were excited about what others will do with the XNA Creators Club on the Xbox 360, we were delving in to see what WE could do with it. We talk about how in just a few hours we recreated the exact same card game experience from Windows 3.1 - but in 720p widescreen. The golden age of gaming has arrived! We follow up on last week's story about the U.S. Copyright Office's exemption for abandonware, this time courtesy of someone who actually knows what he's talking about. Nintendo is offering to replace the wrist straps of the Wii Remotes - will they get blamed in lawsuits now, and are their commercials to blame in the first place? The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is also getting into the act by overseeing Nintendo's efforts to rectify the situation. But even with the console being dangerous, Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360 outsold all Wii titles - including Zelda! Sony franchises are leaving the Land of the Cell - Dragon Quest IX is confirmed to be on the DS, and is Metal Gear Solid 4 leaving for the 360? Microsoft added a bunch of games (including Psychonauts) to the 360's Backwards Compatability list, and we touch on the current Youtube-inspired flap over the PS3's lack of filtering on it's backwards compatability. (Hint: It's for real.) Then we take some calls about the PS3 and about the SpikeTV's Video Game Awards.

The mayor of Las Vegas didn't want Rainbow Six: Vegas to come out for moral reasons - but was that really the reason? Our 360 came back and we got Viva Pinata...Is it engaging? Sony does something RIGHT with their pricing of downloadable content - and then fixes their error. Could Abandonware now be LEGAL according to the US Copyright Office? (We need someone with law knowledge to email us!) Nintendo is being sued by a company who claims to have patented the Wii Remote, and Nintendo might be sued by idiot gamers since they are admitting there may be a problem with the wrist straps. We like the Classic Controller, but we'd like to know if we're the only ones not getting a 16:9 signal in some Virtual Console games. The November sales numbers are in, and you'd be surprised at who came out on top. The 2007 Independent Games Festival finalists have been announced, and we begin our coverage of the event. Plus, for our European listeners, we discuss whether Component or RGB SCART is the way to go with the Wii. We also take calls about the Virtual Console and about patching issues with the Xbox 360 and Call of Duty 3 in particular.

We went a little over our usual time because we just weren't done talking yet. The Xbox 360 has finally been shipped out, but Microsoft is pretty slow in fixing them. Was it really their fault in the first place, or is it faulty wiring? An email asks us to reveal the answers to the trivia questionaire from VGXPO. We talk a little about what the PS3 can and can't do in terms of scaling and playback, and then mention how we can't get 5.1 audio from certain PS3 titles that claim to have them. There's a shakeup at Sony, and the new boss takes Gran Turismo HD off the market and turns it into a free downloadable concept demo...for Japan. Halo 3 madness reaches ESPN on Monday night along with signups for an "open public beta" (not really) galavanting around because they're Pimps at Sea. Reggie Fils-Amie talks Wii with MTV, and some interesting tidbits come out. Do Wii Have A Problem? We think some do - they can't keep a hold of their Wii's! And hey, the Dreamcast is STILL going with a new shooter coming out in Japan. Then we take a caller from a blind gamer discussing his gaming, and then another caller discusses EA killing the Dreamcast. We end the show with a call for information on missing CNET Senior Editor and former TechTV personality James Kim who has disappeared in Pacific Northwest during Thanksgiving with his family.

Did we get our PS3 back from Sony's repair center? And if so, what do we think of it? Were people agreeing or disagreeing with our controversial "Zelda Is Too Brown" comments from last week? You may be surprised! We also divulge what Nintendo's repair policy is and compare it with Sony's and Microsoft's, and we talk about what a workout some people get by playing with their Wii. The Xbox 360 Video Marketplace came out, and we want High Definition Battlestar Galactica, dammit! But fix the connection issues first. Sony says they shipped as many PS3's as possible, but it's still lower than expected. We then have callers call in about eBayers, advertising in games, and Small Arms on Xbox Live Arcade.

History repeats itself as our PS3 launch system is as dead as our PS2 launch system was on October 26, 2000. But we did get the Burger King games - are they worth the $3.99 for those who aren't in the new generation? Then we turn to the Wii, which yes, did work. We discuss if we're happy or disappointed - it's a mixed bag. Some things said may anger Nintendo fanboys! Then we take calls about the Wii and the PS3, and comparing HD-DVD and Blu-Ray movies.
