We broadcasted live from the E3 Outpost (Arena Interactive Lounge)in West Los Angeles on Day 3 of E3 with several affiliates of All Games Radio. We are joined throughout the broadcast by Wilcox and George from GamerAndy Live, Loki, DarkSakura, and Skie from Orange Lounge Radio, Lawrence Young, Scot Rubin, and Redmond Carolipio from All Games Interactive, and a surprise appearance by Alon from Chatterbox Video Game Radio and his pimped out ride. We go through categories suggested by Allgames.com forum members such as Best game using a non-traditional controller, Game RPGesus would most likely buy, and Best Final Fantasy XII game. My Xbox 360 has a voice, should we really pay attention to it? Alon from Chatterbox Video Game Radio called in to talk about some Wii rumors. We got an update on the release of the upcoming Sega Genesis RPG Beggar Prince. The Arena Interactive Lounge isn't doing it's part to make Los Angeles one of the best gaming cities in the country. Another Take Two game gets rerated by the ESRB - this time it's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which has a topless texture on the DVD accessable only by a third party modification. Other modders are turning military games into anti-US propaganda - is EA terrorists? Kropotkin calls in to talk about what he wants to see at E3, and about the PhysX PC card. Red Octane announced a song list for Red Octane, but all that matters are the letters YYZ. The DS Lite gets a launch date and price. Xbox 360 users will get a lot of demos and videos this week. Chrisphil calls in to ask who will have the best live video coverage of the press conference. Finally, we detail the E3 Outpost and the All Games Radio schedule for the week, including a new time for this show next week only. Wii start the show talking about Kingdom Hearts 2, Oblivion, and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Fanservice. If you're in Oklahoma, you might want to look at HB3004 on your Governor's desk. MTV bought Xfire for $102 Million. If you can't be at E3, you can still download videos from the Xbox Live Marketplace! Unfortunately, Oblivion will NOT be appearing on your PS3 or PSP anytime soon. EA is now finally paying their programmers. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray cannot come to an agreement. Oh, and Nintendo announced a new name for their console...Do Wii like it?
We start off by talking about Odama for the Gamecube and how, yes, it really does require the microphone even if Gamefly says it doesn't. Is Gametap ready for primetime? That "2KLegends commercial" last week was exactly what we said it was - a commercial for the Texas lottery. Katamari Damacy creator slams the Revolution, which apparently invalidates everyone else who's talked about it. The Xbox 360 gets a better processor which runs cooler and slightly faster. The PS2 gets a price cut down to $129...Do we care? Guitar Hero II is announced, and includes some more staples from the Bemani series of games. The Phantom Lapboard got delayed until October, but at least it has a manufacturer now! Is Silent Hill the best video game movie ever, or is it another dud? A caller asks about the DS web browser (or lack thereof) and another caller gives his take on Silent Hill.
Allgames Affiliate Orange Lounge Radio releases a bunch of Konami games and release dates that were never sent to media. MLB2K6 has freezing problems on the Xbox 360 because of hard drive caching, and you won't believe the workarounds supplied by 2K Sports! There will be 20 Nintendo Revolution titles available at launch, and Ubisoft will be right there with Red Steel. But later, a Polish developer will release a Revolution game all in black and white. 2KSportsFan calls back to discuss MLB2K6 and point us to a commercial that he claims to be a teaser for 2K Legends, but we investigate throughout the show with our live chatters to find the truth. Gitaroo-Man is getting a sequel for the PSP in Japan! Will the PS3 be playable at E3 to attendees, and will women be allowed on the show floor? Ubisoft has dropped the Starforce copy protection scheme. Garry's Mod is now commercial with a $10 download on Steam. Battlestar Galactica to get RPG based on new series, with a comment about how games have influenced television!
