OMG, Street Fighter IV is totally coming out soon. To celebrate, Alon goes into far too much detail about joystick building minutae. Also regarding Street Fighter, listener, Pen, still can't accept that the control scheme is purposeful. You know what else is purposeful? Bare asses on box art, that's what.
Ara still hates Forza 2, a criminally insane listener lays the hate on Super Mario 64, and Ron Workman tells us why it seems like God hates Take-Two.
Alon picked up a cheap copy of Shadow of the Colossus this weekend and was somehow surprised when he realized it, and Ico, are not as good as people make them out to be. We all wonder if game Studio Director, Paul Wedgwood, has valid concerns about the industry's method of determining bonus pay from Metacritic scores. We also listen to a viral video advertising Tenchu: Shadow Assassins and discuss what games we play to relax.
Alon and Rich enjoyed themselves at CES even though there weren't a lot of games to play there. Ara quizzes the two of them on real world stats about portable gaming habits and resale values. Collectively, the team wonders how people allow games to ruin they're scholastic careers and why so many like World of Warcraft even though it's not fun.
After learning about a six year old in driver's ed, we discuss the maturity of gaming as an artistic medium. Some might argue the medium is immature, but Ara claims it's because you're immature.
