Tonight in the first half of our show we talk about a pair of interesting new possible peripherals for the Wii. A marketing slide spills the details on a Wii Bicycle, while a trademark may have let slip something we can only seem to call the WiiSac . At least the Wii can soon play DLC off the SD cards, and will soon be the home to yet another karaoke game. In part B tonight, we talk about a scary Silent Hill attraction coming to Orange County that the cast of OLR might just have to roadtrip to, if for no other reason than to get Rob to scream like a girl on camera. Also, a developer behind the new Wolfenstein game makes a pretty big bet, and LOKI ups the ante ten fold in a way that only he can. All this and more including your chatroom antics, phone calls, twitter topics and e-mails on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice: Orange Lounge Radio!
We return after a two week live hiatus, and begin the show tonight spending some time talking about LOKIs personal life situation that impacted the show. The OLRmy sticks together to help and support him through this tough time, thank you all for your support. In gaming news, we talk about a controversial new ad that showed up in Wipeout HD this past week, and our thoughts on the appropriateness of ads in games that we pay for. Also, the XBOX is getting Paypal, but is it really something anyone would use? Best Buy is testing a new game pricing methodology in the middle of Utah, but why, and will it last? In Part B tonight, we tackle a pair of Guitar Hero 5 stories and then move right on in to talking about Facebook integration on the DSi. Is this integration everything people thought it would be, or is it just a silly throw-away feature? Of course before we get into calls, we talk about everyones favorite topic-- PORN! No really, porn on the playstation 3... in Japan anyway! All this and more including your chatroom antics, live calls, e-mails and much more on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice (and is one big family as evidenced tonight), Orange Lounge Radio!
Sorry for the delay! OLR went on an unexpected hiatus after the taping of this episode but returns on Sunday August 9th LIVE on All Games Radio ( www.allgames.com ) On Episode 332, we talked about in part A the sales of Dragon Quest 9. Also, how easy is the game "The Conduit" to hack, and is it dangerous to the online community? What could Microsoft be planning with their new music service when we already know last.fm is on the way to xbox live? In part B, we tackle the notion of premium clothing for Avatars on the XBOX 360, and if indie games are really being shut out of XBLA. Also, has Capcom really admitted an error with Street Fighter 4? All this and MORE including your phone calls, live chatroom antics and e-mails on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice: Orange Lounge Radio!
Could a reboot be on the way for a franchise that we think has already had several reboots? Pirates beware... a ROM out there might put porn on your DS. Well is that really such a bad thing? Oh yeah it might be if it messes with the flash ROM too. Bad form or just desserts for the pirates? We try to cover all the sides with the help of our live chatters. In Part B tonight, our rapid fire news includes news on what might have been DLC for Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe ... and WAIT PLEASE for your darn kid icarus game. We get back into long topics including everyones favorite topic... NUDITY! All this and more including your chatroom antics, phone calls on our skypeline and letters to our e-mailbag on the video game show where every gamer has a voice: Orange Lounge Radio!
We are back after the independence day holiday to talk about FIRE! Okay, we also get into game chat too tonight, and in part A we talk about games that have disappeared from XBL marketplace. Why did this suddenly happen? Well, it makes sense once you hear it. Some rumors about the Playstation 3 sound very exciting, but the price point of the PSP Go is still leaving a sour taste in our mouth. Think we are right? Think we are totally off base? Dont forget to send us an e-mail to mailbag at orangeloungeradio dot com. All this and more including a clarification on Chinas new gold farming law, and information on a new Final Fantasy game! Most importantly- YOUR voices through our chatroom, our phone calls, e-mails and much more on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice: Orange Lounge Radio.
